LN. RAFIQUL ISLAM
Ln. Rafiqul Islam was born in a respectable muslim family as Sathkhira District, Under P.S – Debhata of village parulia on September 14, 1964. His father Md. Iman ali Gazi and mother Late Aysha Khatun. He was inspired by his parents both educating and humanitarian services for the less-fortunate peoples from his boyhood and thus he entered the world of humanitarian services through many volunteering service organization. And from theis gathered experience he became the founder Chairman of AYESHA POLY FOUNDATION (a non-profit humanitarian service organization) He educated in his local school, B.L College, daulatpur, Khulna and earned graduation from kaligang College, Satkhira under Rajshahi University in 1986. During his education he led many humanitarian service work in his local area and got earn for a leadership skills. Later he was the student and took parts in many social works for the welfare of peoples where he is known as a good standing leader both his local area and nationally.
He earned name and fame through writing of Sub-Editional column in many National and local newspapers and also he was elected Vice president Debhata Opozila press club in 2000-2003. His subjective editorial column on national politics was featured to the nation. He has god reputation on Cultural world especially for Drama, Writing poems and other magazine publications.
He joined the “ The Lions Club of Dhaka Golden Hill” in 2001 as a member when for his dedicated services to less-fortunate peoples & contribution he was elected 3rd Vice President in 2005-2006
Later by his excellent performance on services in Lionism he was elected President of Lions Club of Dhaka Golden Hill in 2006-07. During his tenure of presidency he worked with Ln. S.K Mohi uddin MJF, District Governor, District 315 A2, Bangladesh, with good reputation and awarded an “Appreciation Awards” by him following his call “ Save the Sight” (2006-2007). Also thorugh his best good mannersism and good performance on humanity services, he earned a leadership skilled, which promoted him to lead in District Cabinet member as a District treasure (2007-08) under the leadership of Ln. Nasiruddin MJF, District Governor 2007-2008. District 315 A2 Bangladesh.
He is an established businessman holding the directorship of Dhaka Designates Ltd. And Proprietorship of Global Trade Line and LBR IMPEX. In Business his reputation is appreciable to EEC and USA based principals especially in the sector of ready made Garments and Garments Buying House and well known to Middle East. South Asia as Tour operator & Promoters in Tourism business especially in Nepal based through his tourism banner” The Best Asia Tours”. He has good name and fame in IT industries in doing business with many corporate companies in Bangladesh.
He has not experience in the filed ho Human Resouces management specially to serve the distressed peoples those are effected to become blind, undedicated and unhealthiest. His health care services on Eye Care and dental Care are appreciable through out the national and international as Lions.
He is married with two sweet kids Ishrat Jahan Poly and Ishmat Jahan Oyshee and happy in his family life with Mrs. Shahanaz Begum.
Major Humanitarian active : Lions Clubs International
1. Member : Eye Screening Camp and Vitamin A Capsule Distribution, October, 2004 at Shantibagh High School, Dhaka Bangladesh.
2. Chairperson : Eye Screening camp at Lalbagh Club & High School October, 2005, Dental care services on Safat Diagnostic Center, October 2005 Rellies on Government call “Service for Vission.
3. Co-Chairperson: Eye Screening and Vitamin A Capsule Distribution to the Distressed Child and peoples at Mishu Pre-Cadet School at Badda, Gulshan. Dhaka on September, 2007.
4. Health Care Services : Operation for Cataract Surgery among the 1500 distressed peoples during the period of 2005-2007. This health care service was organized by own contributions thorugh the helping of BLF (Bangladesh Lions Federation).
5. Relief Distribution : Relief distribution for winter clothes to the distress for the year 2006 and attended in Blood donation program under the supervision by the Ln. S.K Mohi-uddin MJF, District Governor, District 315 A2 Bangladesh.
